The Air Fear Of God 1 ‘The Atmosphere’ released in July 2019 as part of a collaboration between Fear of God’s Jerry Lorenzo and Nike. Released exclusively at ComplexCon in Chicago, the shoe’s high-cut bootie construction appears in Amarillo mesh, supported by a tonal TPU cage that’s worked into the lacing system. The heel sports a zipper for easy on and off, while underfoot, the midsole sports ‘Fear of God’ branding on the heel. Underfoot, a visible double-stacked Zoom Air unit in the heel provides cushioning, giving way to a circular traction pattern on the outsole.
